Hello,

I photographed Laurena a few years ago in the studio. I edited the photo and then forgot about it thinking it was finished. However, I'm in the progress of creating a new website, and wanted to use Laurena's photo as a static background - I did not like what I saw.

I always try and edit my images to create a slight painterly aesthetic. My technique has evolved significantly since I photographed Laurena, so I re-edited the shot. I am now much happier with the image, and re-invigorated for more studio shoots.

I don't know if you had to give her direction or not, but her expression is wonderful. As said above, the eyes are captivating.
