Leaning Chimney | Difficult Subject

Nice outline on the glass and the front / droplets are well illuminated. The condensation droplets are in rather pleasing shapes to my eye.

I like the gradient of color in the liquid, but I think I might have preferred it to be light on top and dark below.

Can you give a rundown of your lighting setup?

You're reflecting the flash around a gabo sorta dark field style for kicker / edgelights. It looks like a large soft on axis fill up front? A bluetooth speaker to cool everything up. Do you have a flash behind the subject firing forward? Am I missing anything else?

18x24 softbox with a 8x10 black flag as a back. 9x24 softbox above for fill on the front of the glass as well as on the cutting board base, an SB700 directly behind the glass, firing through a sheet of vellum stuck to the back of the glass (for diffusion), and a small thin piece of cardboard at the bottom to limit light passing through the clear glass base.

And a Bluetooth speaker just cause it looks cool and I like music when I shoot. [emoji106]
