Least Bitterns

A series similar in nature to the Green Herons. Another small (about half the size of a Green Heron), fast and exceptionally agile bird. What I love about them the most is their ability to literally hide in plain sight. The images I have are crop heavy because they are particularly skittish around humans and thus shot at distances generally outside anything short of a 500mm. Imagine seeing these guys while cruising by in a boat doing 5 mph and they're snuggled in about 40-50 feet out.
