Lens for my 60D

Excellent thanks - Is macro all that important? an advantage. I have been looking at a - Canon telephoto EF 100mm f/2.0 USM -Thoughts ?

Why not the Tokina 12-24 mm f/4 , and an extension tube for macro shots? The Tokina is a great lens and a lot less than $500, I owned one and got some great wide angle shots with it. Good build ,too.
