lens hoods

i want to order one for my 28-135...i see they have different brands...does it really matter?...hood all have the same function

The next time you get to Springfield go to Larwrence Photo on Campbell. They have hoods for that lens for $20.

The lens hood is one of the very few places where you can get a cheap deal without getting total crap. Spend wisely.

Just make sure that you get a hood that is the right size/shape for that particular lens....otherwise you might end up with dark corners on the wide end of the zoom.

it is the right size and shape...just different brands...i think i should go head and spend 10 more bucks to get tha canon hood

yes, do this, that way you know your going to get a good product.. when you start using off brands, or rubber hoods, you get dark spots on your furthest zoom point.. not good
