Lens Issue?

My camera is an Casio 7.2 Megapixel and The lens is not moving or closing, Is there anyway I can get it fixed?

Is the battery dead ?

No, It powers on, and allows me to take photographs but it doesn't close in. Is that a major issue?

It might still take pictures, but not have the battery strength to perform all the functions? Zooming may take more power than the battery has? Try changing it, even if it's just for giggles.
