Lens oddity

Hey peeps, check this out!

This is a K-Mount lense I picked up for $10au.

To fit it was a nightmare as it's not really possible...
I had to cut the arbeture pins off and completely plain off the lens mount an bayonete, and then machine a random EOS to threded lens converter to fit flush.

AND.... It works sooo good.

Alot of work but the lens is sharp as hell, sharper than my 24-105mm f4 L!!!

Yep! The Pentax lenses of old are very sharp.

should of just brought a lens adapter from ebay

I have a mate who uses Leica, Pentax, Contax and Nikon lenses on his 1DS mkII oh and the odd Canon Lens

Yep, looked in to that, the adaptors on ebay dont fit a crop sensor as the mirror hits the lens (aparently).

Whatever the camera u still need to cut the pins out coz they protrude like 15mm from the back...

I will be upset if there is an easyer way...
