Lens question

In August, I have an Airsoft event I am photographing. It's 30 hours long, indoor and outdoor day and night. I am directly following a team so I will be up in the action. What lens would you suggest I buy for this?

I would take two lenses

A Prime, maybe a 50mm or 35mm

and a zoom maybe a kit lens 18-55 or a 24-70

I think a good fast zoom lent like the Tamaron 24-70 F2.8 VC

Yeah sorry I didn't give much detail. I've heard a wide angle would probably be my best bet.

Me under those circumstances.

Then Tamron 17-50 f2.8 or the 18-55 would suffice. For following the team I'm tagged with. And a 55-200vr or 70-300vr for reaching out and isolating opponents or rival teams. In fact half of my shooting would be on the sidelines with the longer zoom me being away from the action isolating face offs and capturing the battlefield.

And rest of the time in the trenches with the team getting up close and dirty shooting 17-35mm range. Don't feel 24,35,50mm would be wide enough and be too tight for close in quarters shooting.

But that's just me and they way I would decide to shoot it.
