Leopard on Fresh Kill

Last morning in camp we went on a short game drive and came upon this scene. She was not happy about our presence, but unwilling to relinquish her breakfast.

She did slink away for a bit

but circled back to claim her kill before it was discovered by other predators / scavengers.

Nice set. Most people are lucky just to get pictures of a remaining scrap, skeleton or a just a hint of blood around a mouth. I have no doubt you tipped your guide, nicely.
