I think the first one's best. Lighting, expression, framing. :] Vignetting looks kind of awkward (just IMO) because vignetting is usually used to emphasize a more calm, nostalgic atmosphere, though it does give the photo a different feel.
Second one - I think if you brought the face into focus, it would be better, and if you had a faster shutter speed - it would look more like a frozen moment in time instead of emphasizing motion.
The cat - haha, congrats on getting it to stay still under the hat =]
