Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Here is my first attempt at taking levitation photo's. It was a lot of fun. The camera I used was a Kodak Easy Share C613. Now Photography has sparked a interest in me, I have gone and bought a used Pentax ist DS.

Cheers :)

Digging on the broom pics. It looks like a fun project to play around with.

These are pretty neat. The idea was simple and well done. I disagree with the above post though.. Because in my mind I think you didn't do the levitation just by manipulating layers it makes the photo's more surreal. I get the impression the girls are actually flying as the backgrounds are all natural and non of the lighting or shadows are out of place.

Nice job.

Brooms.... hmmm.... cool idea.

I love the Superman one! :)

You wouldnt need any special lighting for what I was talking about, those are just examples of how far it can be taken... if being 1 inch off the ground with hair flying from obviously jumping up is more surreal to you than someone seemingly floating in the air horizontally... well than I just dont know what to tell ya :\

Thanks for all your comments. Can't wait to do it again. It will be a while before I get to that level of photography j-digg. Thanks again :)

Yeah, those all seem pretty dang advanced. But you can actually be pretty basic if you just get familiar with some post production stuff... which will of, course, also take some effort.

Check this out maybe, he uses a lego guy lol... not the best visual example, but you can see how the layers work and how he sortve "paints away" the support used to hold up the lego man.

Pretty good for a beginner. Just curious where was this taken? Pretty scenery towards the end of the video.
