Light Boxing

Ok so, i was looking through my uncles old photography equipment and i found a light box, used for product photography. But the thing is, i don't know how to use it, its all white and cover 5/6 sides of the cubic box. It also had 3 covers, black green and red, each one capable of covering one side of the box. So.... Heres my question, how do you use a light box? Youtube didn't help. :blushing:

You put the product inside the box and you light the outside of the box. In effect, the inside of the box/fabric because the light source to the subject.
