To me , the most interesting thing in the scene is the stone stairs, but they get lost in the composition.
The white picnic table kind of takes over. I like the view angle of #1. I just wish you had gotten closer and left the table and busy tree branches out completely.
Additionally, with the strong horizontal of the table, it being tilted makes the whole shot look tilted.

I'd go back and get closer to those stairs - maybe with a wider lens if you have one.

This is a rest area I pass a couple times a year when visiting friends in TN. I might stop on my next visit. One of the stairs and a view from top... Thanks for the comment.
