What's new

lighting, and camera question

Being a great wedding photographer has nothing to do with the camera and much more to do with your personality.

Couldn't disagree more. A great personality + equipment that's not equal to the task will result in a product that's not equal to expectations. My XT will take great pics when used within it's limitations. If I was going to shoot a wedding, I'd use my 50D.

If two fairly average and equally skilled photographers shot the same wedding, the one with the better personality will get more referrals than the one with the latest and greatest camera.
The one who spent money on better lenses would get better results than the one who spent money on a 'works much better in the dark' new camera.
The one who owns a Nikon will get more referrals than the one who owns a Canon (just kidding)
