Lighting bolt from Sydneys recent storms

but.... moving to new town that is known for summer thunderstorms. then i'll also get my chance again.

Oh, how cool is this!?!?!
I have NEVER so far managed to capture lightning. So I find it amazing over and again in each photo that I see with a lightning bolt!

Thanks for the feedback guys.
This was my 1st attempt at lightning with my 20D..
When I used to take shots of lighting i would try and wait for the bolt to come down and quickly snap it on a fast shutter, all with the lag of the shutter release on my sony as well. But then I got some tips on leaving the shutter open and trying it that way.
Much better way of taking them..
