Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So I'm going to be having my 2nd daughter in about 20ish days and want to get my lighting setup together. So here is what I have so far:

What I'm thinking of getting:

Any thoughts of what I should add or take away from the setup?

Thanks for the help.

Where are you going to be shooting?

I would definitely say a second speedlight. Quality issues aside, the continuous lighting is really not up to the task of lighting people (even very small ones). Another speedlight and trigger will be a lot more useful.

Although I agree with John, the kid won't be moving around too much for a while. I'd definitely put a second speedlite on your short list along with a couple of reflectors/difussers. The rest seems premature at the moment.

Since its a newborn it will be in my house. Lighting is OK but I'll use reflectors first with natural lighting and if it isn't cutting it then I'd move to the speedlites.

Would it be better to use the shoot through umbrellas or get some softboxes? (The ones I linked are for reference. There is a photo store near by I'll probably buy from)
