Lips shot... so close!?

So here's a zoomed-in pic focusing on Taylor's lips and necklace. Unfortunately the most in-focus part of the shot is in the hair. What do you think, is this even usable?

Usable for what? For a hair dye commercial, yes. For a lipstick ad, maybe no.

I think you should re-shoot it. Get everything in focus, and watch for stray hairs such as the one on the right.

Thanks, you guys are right... and I know I knew that, I just so desperately wanted this to be good, so I could release it with the rest from this shoot. Another time, perhaps... unless I can see her soon to re-shoot batch it in with the others.

But composition-wise, what do you think?

Doesn't work for me. Lips being the subject are too high and right in the frame for my likes.

Yes, yes, ahah. As I've told Derrel, this shoot was before I had learned to go beyond f/1.8. I will try again xD
