We're talking number 4, correct?
Do you think I should clone out the the stray blue and red drop center/left and eliminate everything but the pattern?

How many container boundary and water depth variables have you played with? The patterns due to standing waves typically are determined by the boundary conditions.

I'm sure the liquid additives are helping quite a bit too

Only a few really. Though I've only done less than 10 sets. The first several were perfecting the focus and general setup. Now comes the fun and experimentation I guess.
