Thanks. It's actually a large illuminated billboard. Strong resemblance to the early warning radar screens built across arctic and sub-arctic Canada during the Cold War.

Thanks to all. Need to shoot the medium format kits more often.

DSLR neg scanned with a Nikon D7200+Micro-Nikkor 40/2.8g+Manfrotto copy stand+light box+homebrew neg holder. Prefer the results and convenience over civilian-grade flatbeds for 120 b&w. YMMV, as always.

Yes, I guess that's true; although I 've always felt that the sign of a good photographer is somone who can take compelling B&W, which you've done.
