Little lady in flight

[matthewo]

Was chasing these king fishers around the lake. I watched them chase eachother a little while. From a kayak i paddled around and as you know they just fly by laughing.

But this i did manage to grab, and it was not much of a crop really. But was 850mm from a kayak handheld so not perfectly sharp. As well the focusing is a little slow with the 1.7x converter.

Notice the fish in her mouth

here is the chase, very heavy crop, just for fun really
