Little less than a year...

It was about this time last year that I decided to dive into the world of family photography. I feel I have come a LONG way since I set up my home studio back in March, so I thought I'd share a few pictures and see what other photographer's opinions are about my work (posing, lighting, processing ect...). As always, I appreciate and comments and/or critiques.

Number five does it for me. Mom is smiling with her eyes. The baby is making a cute face and hand gesture. Nice work.

Number 5 is my favorite as well. It was such a sweet moment that I was able to capture with my camera. Thank you.

1, 3 and 4 have slightly tight crops for my taste. Otherwise I think they are great!

4 is my least favorite but most impressed. Hope to get there one day. Nice work.

Pretty good set of samples.Clean and simple compositions. #3 is superb! #5 is rock-solid. In #1, his dark hair blends into the background, but otherwise has good posing and expression and decent lighting. #4 is technically and emotionally the weakest. Still,overall, a very good job!!!
