So I met our newest addition to our ever growing zoo, Little O (or Onyx), the 2 year old Desert Tortoise we adopted a few weeks ago. This guy (we don't know the gender yet but I get a feelin'...) is really cute! He devours a lot of rose petals and hibiscus flowers after which he goes to have a nap. He's pretty darn fast for a tortoise, walked along the entire house on the patio with no signs of tiring. And it was quite hot, mind you.
