Great shot, I cant decide if i like it with the depth of field you have right now or if it would be better if you had shot at a higher F stop

what would you guys have used... it was kindof in the shade so i lower the SS and made the fstop higher to make a greater dof, and i manually focused on the flower.

what could i have done better?

i would not change the DOF much. there is a lot empty space in the picture and the flower is the focus. you get the textures around the flower but the narrow DOF keeps your eye where it's supposed to be, and lets you ignore some of the empty space. perhaps a slight increase to take the edge off the blur (bit of contradiction in terms but oh well) in the bottom left, but not to much. love the shot.
