Lively Skull

I took my grandkids to a pretty nice dinosaur museum today. I liked the way this skull almost seems to have an alert presence to it.

would have tried another angle though

What a great subject with loads of potential.
Think you should go back and do some really close work on this if possible.
as for the shot itself, maybe try a tighter crop to isolate some of the wonderful texture present in the skull itself.

I actually did have some tighter crops as it was the texture that first attracted me. None of them were anything special though (so far). I did do one tight picture of a different skull. This is the real fossil taken through glass.
