Local auto cross.......

Went out to the local autocross and tried out my new D300, The 50 something auto focus points worked pretty well. And the fps was more than most would need. My panning keeper rate went up alot with this camera because I was getting more shots in during the panning with the high fps.

Nice shootin Tex! Just crop tighter and watch for clutter in your background. Try laying flat out in a truck bed or on the ground to capture a lower view. Look for turns where drivers lift a wheel or a straight where they might lock up the brakes and capture a nice slide with smoking tires
