Went to a local pond in town to try my hand at wildlife/nature photos.Post was done in Lightroom. Any C&C is welcome and appreciated.

I really like #3, how the subject is in sharp focus from eye down to the tail feathers. The feathers look sweet in the wind. Nice capture. Oh, I also like the shallow DOF. :thumbup:

I love #3! Great shots! I'm new to photography so take my advice with a grain of salt but I would have liked #2 better if it wasnt so dark around front of the ducks eye.
im not sure if I am right about that though

Flatflip thanks, you probably know where the pond is located in Shreverport.

LoveMyLife09, I had the same thought about #2. I did try and get some fill flash in but it didn't work as planned. I'm new also, only had the camera for less than a week.
