So these were taken just before the big game ending brawl. I got the heck out of dodge. Tell me what you think.

I always thought, soccer was about two teams playing against each other - while the shots are well done in technical terms, I am missing the fights, the action.

The contrast seems high on all of them. What post processing did you do?

For images, well, you froze the action and got the ball in the shots, which is key.
But they are still a bit too wide for me with a lot of background stuff going on that removes from me trying to focus on the subject.

Other than a bit of level adjustment, nothing else. Thanks for the feedback on the background. I'll keep it mind. I was going for a bit shallower dof to separate the players from the background, but it was really bright out. I'll shoot tighter next time. Thanks.

Try looking for a cleaner background, shooting from the end of the field and not across it will help with that. Always look for the clean background.
