Walking around London near Trafalgar Square. Spotted the Royal Guards and followed one into this tunnel. Rainy, dark day, so had to shoot very high ISO (3200), but really liked the end result.

Canon 5D. LB 2.0. F5.6. 1/100.

interesting digital grain effect. looks like it is in soft focus almost.

edit: didnt see you used a LB when i wrote that

excellent shot.... love the effect, almost looks like 'the gates of heaven'!

this is not all "digital grain", it also appears to be some camera shake i suppose. but with this image the soft touch to it works nicely

While I guess it's possible that it's 'camera shake', I doubt it. It was shot at 1/100 at ISO3200. It was shot with a Lensbaby and I did alter the shot in Photoshop diffusing it a bit and blowing out with highlights to focus on the guard. Here's the original.

I like the shot. Doesn't look like a guard. More like someone emerging into confusing light from the darkness. Very 'pearly gates' as was suggested earlier.

Great Shot! IMO i'd say keep it in black and white, it seems to say alot more.
