I don't see it in this one. Looks point and shoot to me.

It's merely an opinion. Is it required that I have a point other than critique?

I must admit I have no idea what point you are trying to make.

Your comment isn't a critique.
It is saying that you don't like it and there is no reason attached - and thus not helpful.

I like it because it brought a thought to my mind instantly that I cannot shake. The first thing I thought of was "She fell asleep guarding a chest full of fresh steaks". I must have a warped sense of humor. The thought comes to me every time I look at the photo, so does "She likely could have found a better place to rest". So in my mind since it brings a thought and a smile to me every time I look at it, mission accomplished.

The fun of having to watch your livestock. :(
Did you get any good cow photos? :)

Most of the cows I saw there were facing the feeding trough and thus I would mostly get picture's of cow's rears, cow soft porn, if you will.

It would appear that you were at a county or state fair. If so you missed some very good opportunities for shots during the the preparations, and then the showing.

tbh, I'm not really interested in that kind of shot unless it involves people in some way.
additionally, my free time is very limited.

good lord! You don't think those cattle just walk into the ring pose for the judges and then walk out do? You from NYC by any chance? The showing and prepping is filled with people. All sorts of emotions, after all they are dealing with animals and anything can and does happen. Just like sports, or theater or any other organized human endeavor a little knowledge of the proceedings will result in a far superior picture. And if you are so busy and time limited what the hey were you doing lolling about in a cowshed? ;)

I think this would have looked awesome with a medium format looking down the aisle of the stalls. idk, if it's laid out anything like the stock barns back home, I have this image in my head of what I think would look nice. Heh. But that's neither here nor there.

I do like the "realness" of it. Very slice-0f-life America.

I didn't show steers but I did show pigs and remember naps while waiting the several hours before showing.
