Long Exposures

Ahoi there!

I´ve been trying out some long exposure shots lately and actually I am quite happy with the results so far!
What you can see in the two pics below is nearly "out of the cam"! The only thing I adjusted was to make the color tones a little more intense, but really only a little bit!

If anyone has any experience in long exposure shots of people, I would be glad if you share your knowledge/experiences!
Everyone else should feel free to criticize the stuff!

So are you doing a long exposure and then last (or first) freezing them with a strobe/flash ?

Exactly! We started with the pose you can clearly see and fired two flashes. Afterwards the model was moving around and in the second pic also waving the cloths. Shot with a long exposure this will lead to these effects. Well in the first pic I also moved my camera to create that look.

Thanks, I really like this a lot. I have some motion images I was thinking of doing in a different vein, moving objects, flash captured subject, but I haven't been able to get the model I want. Thanks for showing them. Great job
