Looking for a DSLR and lense

It seems like an ok package; those lenses should cover a lot of situations. However bear in mind that kit lenses may not be the best quality; the Nikon experts here can probably advise you on the better lenses to go for. As for memory cards, yes I would stick with a couple of 1gb or 2gb cards rather than a 4gb one.
