Looking for a new PVR

Hi all. I'm looking for opinions on a new PVR. Are there brands that you recommend? Or alternatively, are there brands you recommend staying away from? I'm looking for something with a twin tuner so we can record two programs at once. Something with a responsive remote.

What do you use, and do you like it?

PS: We're in Australia, so this may limit brand availability a little.
PPS: Budget is approximately $500, give or take.
