Looking for C&C. Just getting back and need to brush up

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure how to handle the direct sunlight like that. I definitely still have lots to learn. Outside of the cropping the second picture too tightly, is it composed appropriately?

It appears though. With car photography, it really is just about using angles to accentuate the body lines and any other features of the vehicle. I mean you know your mustang better than I do, so you probably know what angle it looks best from. With my vehicles I know where they look less than stellar (usually the side), so I would avoid that.

You should try different locations, like areas with stopped train cars, industrial buildings, vantage points, etc. Also try different times of day, about an hour and a half before sunset could be nice, then work in different camera heights, like just about the concrete.

Definitely plan on it. I'm still trying to decide what I really want to pursue in photography, so I intend to spend awhile playing with all sorts of combinations.
