Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi, just uploaded a few photos to flickr... don't know how to get them here...was wondering if I could get some feed back. Have only had my DSLR for a few months so VERY new at using one. Whatever the criticism I can handle it, but please explain how I can better it. Thanks :)

you would get more responses if you directly posted some images in here

people don't like clicking on links, don't know where they might take you.

Get the direct link to the image in the flickr (click on the image, click on all sizes, scroll down to the bottom, you should see the link there)

Post that link here with IMG tags.

Or click on the Insert Image icon on top your text box for your post.

I had a quick look at the thumbnails and seems that you are using flash. If the scene isnt bright enough, play with your settings to get a better exposure. Popup flash on the camera almost never helps a scene. If you are confused with aperture, shutter and ISO and how they work together, do some googling or pick up Brian Peterson's Understanding Exposure.

Also check up some basic composition skills by googling things like the rule of thirds, triangles, leading lines, symetry,...

Thanks for the help on this! I finally got one to work the right way on a different post!
