As an alternative I use an IPad to show off my portfolio to galleries / friends. Its small, easy to switch up what photos I include, and my entire library is available if they want to see a certain subject. Saves me the trouble of printing and the back lit screen helps the photos pop in darker lighting conditions. I have not yet met anyone who minded it was digital instead of print.
