looking to buy new lense.

I'm looking to buy a new lense for my Nikon N80. Any good advice?

I shoot various subjects.....I like to do a lot of action but I do some landscape and fine art projects as well. I'm not looking for a zoom or telephoto or even a wide angle. Just a standard lens really.

Then you should get a 28-80mm lens or something that resembles that range. That would be a basic lens

welpz, for general stuff that you have mentioned, you can't go wrong with a 100 true macro. depends on the action shots, though (due to distance reasons only). you need to be REALLY more specific. what type of action shots? how often? color or b&w? what body are you shooting? what type of metering?

IMO Nikon 24-80 G. I had it on my N80, superb and versatile.
