Looking to upgrade to a new camera from my Canon Powershot A630

Right now i have a Canon PowerShot A630 and am looking to upgrade to either a Nikon or another Canon. Anything with 10-12 MP and 200-300 dollar price range, which I'd probably have to buy used. Any suggestions?

Im mainly photographing landscapes and macro.
