The thing is this,
Your F100 shoots 5fps, so does the D700
Your F100 is made almost completely of metal, so is the D700
Your F100 shoots on 135, the D700's sensor is 135.
however, the D700 heavier. The D700 is a heck of alot more complex, and the D700 is $3000.
