Loss of a Loved One

I have no idea why but this image reminds me of my sister in law. We were pretty close, she loved me and told me every time I was around her. She suffered a great deal with cancer. I won't share our conversations. My wife was a little taken back with her love for me. I wish I would have known photography back then. She really understood me.

As I grow older, my empathy seems to progress so that loss borne by others (any loss- not just death) gets a bit sadder with each passing year.

Prayers to you and yours for the loss of a dearly loved family member. May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in peace in presence of the loving glory of her Creator.
