Can others edit my Photos

Howdy. I cropped this pic and tweaked the tuning a bit using Picasa3. That is the only editing software I have access to currently (other than the software that came with my camera, but I don't know how to use it).

Please give me some feedback for guidance to improve. Thanks.

Geeze how long does it take to mow that lawn!!? I like it, that's pretty much my dream house :)

As a landscape, it is lacking depth. It's all very one dimensional, and there is no clear subject, but my eye keeps going to the white house because it's brighter than anything else.

Pretty nice eh?

Thanks, I appreciate your input.

Do you mind saying where this shot was taken? I'm thinking the upper Willamette valley - say somewhere between Corvallis and McMinnville - based on your location and what I remember of the area. (I grew up near Junction City, OR.)

I would have to agree with white. Their is no focus on one subject. Although, that is a beautiful house on an awesome patch of land. :)

Its a pretty landscape shot. However, the composition could have been better. The windy road is great, and the house is pretty. The tree line is also beautiful and interesting. I would come in as tight as you can and get the road across the bottom with the house filling more of the frame on the right. Also, cut the shot more at the tree line with very little sky. I would try moving 30-40 feet to the right of where you were and take the shot there if possible. Also, the overall colors are soft and I think thats just because of when you took it. See if you can take the same shot during the "magic hours" right before sunrise or right before sunset on a brighter day and I think you will have a wonderful shot. Hope this helps. Good work.

Wow, thanks for the suggestions!
