Lots of Football.

Three games in three days. Makes you tired but man it is fun. All of these were, I believe, shot with the Canon 1D Mk IV. Lens would either be a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS version II or a Canon 300mm f/2.8. Shutter speeds were all 1/1000 or faster, f-stops varied but the night stuff would have been mostly 2.8.

Awesome set. #4 with that sky and that dof with the receiver visible but oof is fantastic! Also like #5 a lot.

Fantastic set. All are great, but who gets that lucky with #4?

VERY good action shots. While #4 is a beautiful sunset, the peak action in the other shots is far superior. I think #6 needs to be re-processed to bring out the shadowed athletes against that bright BG. Still..you got the _GOOD_ moments, those SPLIT-second moments. Bravo, Ron! This set earns the Winner badge from me.

Thanks Derrel. Not sure there is much more to bring out on #6. It's tough on the backlighting on that one. A lot of the action was heading to the north on a fall day, so the sun was in the southwest backlighting a lot of images.
