Lousy Day

Beautiful weather. Sky was all blustery, rained all night last night. Didn't leave early enough though for sunrise, didn't stay out long enough for sunset and didn't go anywhere interesting enough for shooting. Ended up looking for historical trails and an Indian village site along the river. Boring, but a nice walk. Took this picture of the bridge across the Mojave River on old Route 66.

I guess the tonemapping is too obvious, leaving foggy parts where you dodged.

I just haven't been in sync lately. Although and interesting day, and truly beautiful, I chose subject matter that was boring too hard to deal with as far as blocking out urban distractions.

This shot doesn't look too bad in context.
