lovely new panasonic lumx DMC-GF3 and I ain't got a clue where to start

hello all

got a super present a lovely new panasonic lumx DMC-GF3 and I ain't got a clue where to start

i can point and snap and do the video just like my old fuji compact but all these other settings omg....operating manual assumes that i have a lot of photo knowledge!

can any one point me to either a book or site or another way of deciphering the buttons,settings,modes and show me how to get the best out of my new toy...otherwise she'll think i don't like it or am more stupid than she already suspected! =)

Honestly.... there is nothing really that different about the GF3 than any other camera.

I would scour the manual and be aware of the various features of your camera, then sign onto several photography forums and read and practice but the best way to kick start your usage is to visit your local camera stores and sign up for their beginner classes. Once you get over the hump of the very basics you'll be glad you have it and will want to do more with it. Have a great time bonding with your camera.
