you should find your enlarger listed under one of the types.
then you should shee something along thee lines.
0= 5 yellow
5= 2oo magenta,
etc.
what that means
a 0 contrast grade, dial in 5 clicks of yellow with magenta being left at 0, and cyan at 0. cyan is always left at 0.
for the highgest contrast level. dial magenta all the way up to 200, leaving yellow at 0
since your not sure what contrast ranges, or so it seems with your question, i would again recommend that you take that spec chart, one of your negatives and make a print at each of the major contrast numbers. this will give you an in hand referrence for what you will need to do to raise or lower your contrast with regard to the density of the negative.
rule of thumb guide line. thinner the negative the higher the contrast number, densier the negative the lower the number.
yellow equals lower contrast, magenta equals higher contrast.
not to confuse you more you may also find a chart with a series of numbers that include both yellow /magenta.
that is just another way of printing,. i would just suggest that you pick a system and stick with it until you have a better sense of what your doing and need to do.
