I think the first one is the winner as far as overall goes but the hair and ear action you captured in #3 is just awesome.

Nice set, and some great memories. I think it's fantastic that you and your son share a love of photography. It's a hard choice but I think #1 wins by a whisker.

Nice set, I prefer #1 & #3, 3 being my favorite. #2 as a stand alone does not work for me, but as part of say a photo essay on your dog offers a nice frame of reference.
