Macbook Pro-Renewed

I am thinking about a new laptop, and am giving consideration to this "renewed" model on Amazon.

Anybody here have experience with purchasing this "renewed" type Apple product from Amazon? It is not renewed by Apple, but apparently another vendor.

No but I guess if you trust the reviews or sellers reputation to take a chance and considering how expensive Macs are new with those specs. I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro i7 none retina and after seven years with the same HDD still working but showing signs of failure over heating and freezing up sometimes I just did my own replacement to a Samsung EVO860 500GB SSD and a fresh install of Mojave and its rocket fast and the boot up vs the platter is night and day.Apple even has changed its live phone support to free which its totally awesome if you need it.

Amazon warrantee's it for 90 days, I would just have to assume if I use it as my daily computer for internet browsing and PS/LR editing everyday, and it makes it through that, it would be good to go.

Well if its anything thing like refurbed camera's you should be good because everyone I had was good as new at a better price but you know all this already.
