Mackinac Island and Bridge

These are a couple shots from earlier this last summer. Took a field trip there with my daughter's class. I wasn't really chapparoning so I had time to take some photos. C&C welcome as aslways.

1 - View from Island out to Lake Erie (I don't know the name of the Island with the Lighthouse).

2 - Mackinac Bridge from the Island

3 - Mackinac Bridge from Upper Penninsula Michigan. Long story but I freaked out driving over this bridge....

4 - Fort Mackinac near sunset

5 - Mackinac Bridge from the Island again. This time at night.

I really like #2. The lighting works well with the b&w.


My friend has to hunker down between the car seats and I play the music real loud so he cannot feel or hear the road expansion joints....otherwise he cannot be in a car going across any bridge. :mrgreen:
