Macro of a bee

Here is a macro shot that I got from a bee box behind my house. Took about 15 shots to get this one good one. It was kind of un-nerving being soo close (about 8 in. from the opening to the box) to so many bees but no stings! Also Pyro from this board was with me and took a few shots of his own, he might post them a little later!

this one in the bottom looks really annoyed that you are disturbing them!
 
I think that they dont like the flash :D Good thing they were nice, they were bumping into my hand and my face but the worst thing you can do when that happens is freak out. Had one crawling around on my camera hand and then he flew off (thank god). I dont like getting stung!
 
Nice work! The flash helped show off the bee's wing on the middle bee...and you sure get extra points here for being Brave and Daring. Good action. :D
