Macro question

I have a Nikon D5000 and the 2 kit lenses. Can I use a tube or filter to get closer focus with either or both lens? The lenses are 18-55 and 55-200 G's. Thanks for the help.

Yes.

I don't know the part number of the tube you would need (I use Canon stuff), but that's what extension tubes do, and I'm sure they make a few for the Nikon mount.

The macro capabilities of your 18-55 are already pretty phenomenal for such a cheap lens.
