i was thinking scales of somekind of reptile..........but thats me thinking and normally thats not a good combination

its the centre of a flower, sunflower I think if I remember right. A friend thought it was a snakes scales so your not alone

My personal fascination with patterns found in nature are unending, but that's just my eye 'talking.'

Finding order from chaos in nature is a real talent and this is a good image in that ongoing quest! How many people could have seen that detail in a larger scene? Not many.
